First Semester Exams are scheduled for the week of December 17th thru the 21st. We are still in need of proctors. If you’re interested please contact Mrs. April Norton at 429-2800 to sign-up. All proctors must be approved on the county volunteer list. If you have not submitted your application to volunteer, you still have time; it takes about a week to process! The volunteer website is located on the Cumberland county website at ccs.k12.nc.us.

Juniors, the ACT is quickly approaching. We are offering two free ACT prep courses; one on Tuesday afternoons and the other on Thursday afternoons. Each session will consist of 6 two hour classes. You can sign up for either session tomorrow, December 10th beginning at 8:00 am in the counseling office. The first 50 juniors to sign up for each session will be included. Space is extremely limited and full commitment to the sessions will be expected as this will be a very valuable experience for juniors. Tuesday sessions will begin on January 8th and Thursday sessions will begin on January 10th.
