Hey Buccaneer family, we are doing a fundraiser for a former Buccaneer, Nick Nosbisch, a 2007 graduate, and currently a teacher and coach in Holly Springs. Nick has an aggressive form of cancer but is eligible for a new but expensive treatment from the Mayo Clinic. We are trying to help him and his family byt raising money to help him afford this much needed treatment.

We will hold a fundraiser Thursday, February 2nd. Students will be allowed to wear hats and/or wear PJ pants for $1 each or $2 for both. PJ pants must not be see-through and must conform to all other applicable dress code rules. Onesie pajamas are acceptable but must adhere to the same rules. Participants will make their donations to the administration as they enter the front doors and will receive a sticker to show they have paid. Students who do not display the sticker will be considered in violation of the dress code.

We hope all of you will participate in this event so we can maximize our help for this member of our Buccaneer family.

The JBHS Ladies of Total Image and Gentlemen of Distinction Club members are striving once again to make a difference in our community as we prepare for our 10th Annual Thanksgiving Love Box Food Drive. With the current state of our city and community, sponsorship this year is of utmost importance and the more sponsors we can get, the more families we can feed.

Once again, we will be providing a Thanksgiving Love Box or a $50 Gift Card (to Harris Teeter or Food Lion) to needy families in the Jack Britt School District.  If you would like to provide a Thanksgiving Love Box or donate a $50 Gift Card, please contact Janice Daniels, Vivian Reed or Patricia Richardson. If you would like to provide a a Love Box or just some food items, a list of the food items needed in the boxes is located on the Jack Britt Web site

A special THANKS to those of you who helped to make this endeavor a success last year. Your contributions of food, turkeys, money, and gift cards helped to provide food for over 40 needy families in our own community. Our goal this year is to reach even more families. With your continued support, we CAN make that happen and have an even greater impact in our community.

The Senior Information that we had prepared to discuss at the October Parent Support Group meeting that was cancelled due to the hurricane has now been posted on the Jack Britt Website and is available for viewing.  We apologize for the delay!
