Jack Britt High School is taking a proactive step in educating our students about making mature decisions when alcoholic beverages are involved.  In the United States someone is killed every 15 minutes in an alcohol related accident.  Tomorrow, our SAVE Club is sponsoring an event at Jack Britt.  The event is part of a national program called “Every 15 minutes.”  During the regular school day, we will have some of our students portrayed as the ‘living dead’ and others as grim reapers.  We will be teaching our students to think about drinking, personal safety and the responsibility of making mature decisions when lives are involved.

Also NCVPS classes for next fall start prior to the Cumberland County school year.  Due to the early start, students who are taking an NCVPS class next year need to see Mrs. Paroli in the Counseling Center as soon as possible.  Fall NCVPS classes begin August 13th.
